The University of Massachusetts – Amherst is proud to host the GEM GRAD Lab! The event is being co-hosted by Brown University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tufts University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, University of Connecticut, and Northeastern University in Amherst, Massachusetts! The event is being sponsored by the Northeast Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation. 

Join the premier organization supporting qualified students from primarily underrepresented communities pursuing graduate degrees in applied science and engineering funded by leading corporations, government laboratories, top universities, and top research institutions. Getting Ready for Advanced Degrees (GRAD) Lab offers underrepresented students’ exposure to the benefits of research and technology careers in a highly interactive one-day event.
